Day 23 - Neither
You locate all the stars and safely navigate the nebulae. Your engines give you some trouble midway through, but you manage to clear the dense clouds to find a small, isolated system just beyond. There are multiple habitable planets here and clear signs of life everywhere. You think you’ve found it - your vacation spot! Finally!
Just as you are about to punch in your new coordinates and fly over for a visit, your engines start rumbling. It looks like a cascade failure in the port system. You rush back and see the seven polarized gizmos have fallen out of place! You’ll need to shut down the engine completely and fully reboot it, which requires two steps:
1) First you’ll need to fully shut down the engine. Attach the seven gizmos so that neither port it is connected to is true. The gizmos slot in so the two ports directly opposite each other will be connected. Ensure that neither of them is true. Once you have them all in place, snap off the Faraday resistor at the front - that’s the gray component with the number on it - and leave it where it is.
2) Then, you’ll need to reboot the engine. Now, you’ll reconnect the gizmos - just the red element with the word printed on it. Connect them so the two ports on either side are both true now. Once you have those in place, your engines should restart.
Once you have restarted the engine, you’ll be able to figure out what caused your engine failure in the first place.

Make sure you follow the instructions listed above the puzzle. There is only one way to correct assign the gizmos in each step.
-
Index into each gizmo word, using the number left behind in the first step. Read those letters in order, top to bottom.
