Day 13 - Wave
Having fixed your force field, you leave this creature-filled planet and take off to your next destination. On the way, you turn on your radio, excited to hear a brand new style of music, never heard of back on Earth. But, all you’re getting are news reports and talk radio stations! You quickly rotate the tuner dial, flipping between stations, and pick up snippets of conversations. But, you traversed so quickly from station to station that you don’t remember which station had which snippet. Maybe, if you piece all this information back together, you’ll be able to dial back to these stations and tell what type of language to expect in this region of space.
-
Each of the conversation snippets clues to a four-letter word. You'll need to shift the letters of those four-letter words to match them up to radio stations.
-
The radio station call signs have been encrypted using a ROT cipher (https://www.dcode.fr/rot-cipher)
-
The eight words you've found can all be preceded by a single letter and a hyphen to form a well-known phrase. For example, SIDE can be preceded by B to make B-SIDE. Take that letter and also use the same ROT cipher encoding to generate what that letter would look like on the radio station.
