Day 12 - Shield
After finding the creatures and watching their amazing dance performance, you hear a warning come from your smart phone. The proximity sensors have alerted you to an incoming vessel, and their weapons are charged! You run back to your van, jump into the driver’s seat, and assess the situation. Missiles are pouring down on you - it looks like an automated defense system is attacking!
You fire up your force field to shield you from the incoming salvo, but one portion of the field is malfunctioning. Why did you have to go with wildly outdated technology?! It looks like this hasn’t been updated since Medieval times!
It’s a life-or-death situation. You need to get this force field back up. Why is one area of the shield malfunctioning?

Each second of the force field is represented by six patterned hexagons and a six-letter word. You will need to match up letters to patterns to discover what the final panel is communicating.

Once you know what the six patterns in the indicated panel represent, you will need to anagram them to a familiar word.
