Day 11 - Bridge

You find the proper translator for your Aerostar, fix the operating system, punch in the coordinates, and zoom off into space! You’ve picked a planet known for its wildlife - a diverse-yet-familiar set of creatures. But, when you land, the planet seems absolutely deserted.

On the landing pad, you see a picturesque bridge ahead with a large billboard next to it. The sign has a series of confusing clues and jumbled up letters. But, with no creatures to be seen, you find it difficult to make sense of the information. Where are all these creatures, and what else could they be doing?

  • Each of the clues is missing a word. The missing word would be found at the end of the clues on the left, and at the beginning of the clues on the right.

  • The jumbles of letters down the middle are anagrams of the answers to the 24 clues down the left and right sides.

  • The word added to each clue should pair up the left- and right-side clues. You should have used 12 animal names to finish out your clues. Where else have you seen that list of animals?

  • Put your clues in order based on the Chinese Zodiac, starting with RAT. The numbers associated with each jumble of letters, when added together, will result in a number between 1 and 26. Convert those numbers to letters for the final answer.
