Day 4 - Shift

Thrusters engaged. Tunes back on. You’re ready to leave the Milky Way behind! You crack your knuckles in preparation for your first jump to light speed, take a deep breath, and press firmly down on the gigantic red button on your center console to shift into hyperspeed.

WOOSH!!

You are shoved into the back of your seat as the visage outside your windows changes from pitch black space to vibrant streaks of light. You’re hurtling past countless stars and galaxies. Then, ahead of you, you see it - the hyperspace rings. Your console beeps with anticipation, giving you controls to spin these rings to properly align them along their six major alignment spokes. The closest one to you is already aligned - can you get the other five aligned in time? Once you do, you notice something you’ve been hearing since engaging the hyperdrive - what is it?

  • These six rings need to line up to form six words, starting at the outer ring toward the center. The largest ring is already correctly positioned.

  • Once you have all six rings lined up, read along the yellow spiral. The final answer is six letters long, one letter from each ring.
