Now that you’re packed, let’s hit the road! Or, does “hit the road” make sense when you’re voyaging in space? You shrug off the thought, knowing you’ll have a whole month to think about it. You floor the gas pedal, aim toward the stars, and begin your journey!

As you’re leaving the atmosphere, a large claxon blares in the cabin, with an artificial voice stating, “FTL Thrusters malfunctioning. See manual for reset and realignment procedures.” Great - you’ve barely left home and already are running into problems. You shouldn’t have purchased the “DIY Spaceship Conversion Kit” and gone to a professional. But here you are, miles above the Earth in your rickety Ford Aerostar. Time to fix this thing!

You open the glove box and retrieve the manual, finding the instructions to restart the FTL Thrusters. However, these instructions seem overly complicated! And, what is a “Flunge Capacitor” anyways? As you read, you notice the bottom of the first page is ripped. There’s clearly an instruction there for your Ford Aerostar, but specifically which symbol it is referring to is missing! Looks like you’ll need to figure out which of these symbols indicates to do the opposite, and then follow these instructions to restart your thrusters. What do you get once you get the thrusters restarted?
